Why I do what I do: Matching people with homes is like solving a wonderful puzzle. I just love meeting my clients, listening to their needs and working together to find a house in which they can create a life. It is rich, rewarding and endlessly entertaining. I do what I do at Island Realty because the team is unparalleled: bright, resourceful, generous, extremely hard working people who make me laugh out loud every day.

Noteworthy moments in my RE career: I was showing a couple an amazing house set on six verdant, waterfront acres. The owner and the prospective tenants really hit it off and the next thing I knew we were all packed onto a little tractor trundling around the beautiful grounds, laughing all the way. The couple eventually took a lovely place in the village and it is so much fun to see them strolling through town, absolutely delighted that they chose to live in this little slice of heaven we call Jamestown.

Prior career: I was a professional dancer with the award winning Island Moving Co., Newport’s contemporary ballet company, for 24 years, originating roles in dozens of ballets and living a life long dream. I helped create innovative educational programs for school children, as well as collaborating with a professor at MIT’s Sloan School of Management to develop a successful corporate Team Building and Leadership program. After retiring from the stage I was IMC’s Booking Agent for five years. In my first three months I secured the largest fee ever paid to the company for a performance at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles.

Things I do when not doing RE: Cooking and sharing food with family and friends, attending dance performances, reading, watching movies and playing fierce games of UNO.
