Jamestown Resident since: 1963 Hometown: Jamestown
Why I do what I do: I have an extensive background in home design, construction and construction management. Real Estate seems like perfect transition in my life right now. I have spent over 40 years on the Jamestown Fire Department, 15 years as chief. I have seen how important the department and volunteerism is to Jamestown. I would like to use my Realtor® license to help young families find the perfect housing so they can remain on the island, as well as assist others who love Jamestown as much as I do.
A Little bit about me: I have lived in Jamestown all my life. When I married my wife Lisa, we knew that we wanted to raise our children on this wonderful island. We have been fortunate enough to do so. My daughter, Rachel, graduated from URI with a degree in Pharmacy and still lives on the island. My son, Ian, is currently continuing his college education and lives with us.
What I do when I’m not doing real estate: I enjoy being with my family, especially hiking, mountain biking and family vacations. I am also an avid golfer. We all love the water and sailing/boating has been in our family as long as I can remember.
Notable accomplishments in my Real Estate career: As a new Realtor®, with the help of the Island Realty family, my first showing came within 4 minutes after listing a property, and a contract within days. Thank you Joyce! It was a great feeling to meet the goal of placing a multi-generational family in close proximity to their son’s school.
