Why I do what I do: Real Estate is a profession that throws you a curveball daily. One never knows who will walk through the door or what will be in your inbox. The opportunity to help people make the biggest purchase of their lives builds a bond that is hard to explain unless you have been through the process and the emotions inovolved. Growing up with my mother Carol Hopkins, Broker Owner of Island Realty, provided me a certain second nature to the market.

A little bit about me: I have lived in Jamestown my whole life, with the exception of going to the University of Vermont where I majored in History. I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with troop 1 Jamestown and coordinated the clearing of the Fallen Maple Trail at the Conanicut Battery. My family has deep roots in Rhode Island, I'm a 5th generation Islander, with ties to the first governor Stephen Hopkins.

What I do when I'm not doing real estate: I absolutely love anything with an engine in it. I am constantly tinkering with my old hatchback and will find an excuse to drive anywhere, especially when my wife Ashley, and dogs Lottie and Ella come for the ride. When at home you can find me in the kitchen...I live to perfect a recipe.

Notable accomplishments in my real estate career: Though I am still relatively new to the industry, I have had experience in sales, rentals, and property services. From a sales perspective I was able to get top dollar on a condo unit I had listed in 2018, selling at 8% over the next highest sale price in that development.
