Bio/hometown: Raised in Dumont, NJ, I attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, then Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). I lived in Manhattan for many years, working in public relations, where I represented Parker Brothers, Health-Tex, and more. I then opened my own business doing set design, styling and producing, working on national print advertising campaigns for clients including Hanes Underwear, and Dial Soap, as well as off-Broadway productions and television commercials for clients such as Dannon Yogurt and Ethan Allen Furniture.
Jamestown resident/family members: I moved to Jamestown, RI over 26 years ago and have been enjoying this beautiful island I call home ever since! I have two terrific sons, Dylan, 26 and James, 23. I also have two adored cats, Hobbes and Ziggy Stardust.
Why I do what I do: I became a Realtor over 18 years ago and I love it. Meeting new people, helping them find homes they love, enabling others to move on with the most ease possible. I enjoy working with clients, sometimes for long periods, until they are ready to move and/or find just the right place. I enjoy all the different aspects of it, especially listening to my client's needs, both Buyers and Sellers!
Things I do when I am not doing real estate: I am a founding member of the Jamestown Arts Center, which began as an idea in the winter of 2007. We purchased 18 Valley Street in December, 2009, and opened our doors in July, 2011. I am an active fundraiser, and past Building Committee member. I served as Vice President from June, 2013 until July, 2014 and am currently the Chair of the JAC, volunteering on a a number of committees. In general, doing my best to make this wonderful addition to our community thrive and succeed. This is an exciting, vibrant home for artists and art-lovers alike!
If you don't find me at the office, with my family, or volunteering at the Jamestown Arts Center, you might find me simply relaxing on my favorite beach, Mackerel Cove.
I hold a sales license in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I have listed and sold homes and vacant lots all over southern RI with prices ranging from $160,000 to $6 million.
